VOX :

in "grade" school (early in educational training and youth):

Correct pronunciation and distinct utterance avoid mannerisms of posture and facial expression. Recite comedy/drama from memory with good expression.

Via practice and excersise, the student must acquire poise and grace of movement

in "high" school (later in educational training and adolescence):

Students would, daily, memorize and recite, with good expression, famous speeches . Promote physical robustness and clean living. Goals are pure, clear, embellished and appropriate style.

The goals

-Good "Latin"

-clearly and carefully enunciated

-proper pauses

-avoidance of monotony, straining, excessive rapidity or slowness panting, spraying saliva, chanting, and singing.

-Style dapted to the speech.

-use the imagination by impressing ourselves with the content, allowing ourselves to be moved, using the voice and action to transmit the feelings to the audience.

ACTIO

Use the head, the eyes, the eyebrows, the nose, the lips, the neck, the shoulders, and hands to good advantage. Do not turn your back on audiences, walk about excessively or overuse gestures such that you appear to be dancing.
