Everywhere, disaster reigned, the day the sky filled with flames
The boats that fly to bring people close, became tools of evil and shame.

And most of all what served us best was the weld, the weld that still holds
Put there by union, by sweat, and by toil.
That weld makes us strong, far too strong to fall.
That weld helps us all stand tall.
The weld that held holds us all.

Innocents died, and innocence could not protect, our open arms left us open
So many helped others, strangers and friends
So many passed before their time
=====================================
It's not the easy way, or the fast way, it's craft as something more
